As many of you know, I’m big into shooting video and telling stories about the clients and customers I’m lucky enough to help. I talk often about the need to use story telling in order to build your business, build trust with potential customers, and make the sales process easier by doing so. This is true regardless which one of my businesses I’m working on. One of my biggest success stories in health care was working with a man who has dementia, and has two twin daughters who love him more than anything. He’s in his 60s’, and they’re in their 30’s. As you can imagine, this isn’t the typical family make-up, which is usually the stories that I find most fascinating. As we are seeing more early onset dementia, I think it’s important that we further understand that family dynamics play a huge role in how we as an industry provide care. As the dynamics, and demographics are changing, we also need to adapt. These are young, professional women with careers and families of their own. Their journey started out as a nightmare with an assisted living provider who valued their money, and not their Dad, and then literally threw them out into the street. Watch though how truly appreciative these women are for me and my company, just because I did what I promised them I would do. This is where we can shine. I don’t do what I do only to make myself feel good (although that’s a nice side item, and makes me love what I do even more). I do it because it’s the right thing to do, and these people deserve it. We need more business owners who walk the walk…..

Who wants to walk with me?? Let’s change the world! Check out this video/story below:
